  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. Season chicken strips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, cooking until golden brown and fully cooked (5-6 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, combine chicken broth and heavy cream; simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. Return chicken to coat in sauce.
  4. 4. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
  5. 5. In the skillet, melt butter over medium heat, sautéing minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add reserved pasta water and stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
  6. 6. Toss cooked fettuccine with garlic butter sauce and return Cajun chicken to the skillet; mix well.
