  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice zucchini into rounds and sprinkle with salt; let sit for 15 minutes to draw out moisture.
  3. Rinse and pat zucchini dry.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat; sauté onions until softened, then add garlic and ground beef, cooking until browned.
