  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt half of the butter. Add sliced chicken breasts seasoned with Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer before adding grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, then add cooked pasta; toss until well coated.
