  • 6 slices turkey bacon (chopped)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess grease if necessary.
  3. Stir in the cooked turkey bacon along with beef broth, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper if using.
  4. Reduce heat and let the chili simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
  5. Stir in butter until melted and well incorporated.
