  • 1 cup finely diced apple

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter with both sugars until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture. Fold in the diced apples.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden brown. Allow cooling on a wire rack before drizzling with caramel sauce.
